You can use the Collab.Land bot in order to automatically assign roles in your Discord server based on the Badges someone holds.

Step 1 - Install the Collab.Land Bot in your Discord Server

Instructions for installing the bot can be found in the Collab Land Docs.

Step 2 - Create your roles on Discord

If you already have Discord roles you want to use for Badge-gating, skip this step.

Navigate to the server settings / roles section in Discord to create new roles.

Step 3 - Create your token-gated roles (TGRs) on Collab.Land

After signing into your Collab Land dashboard using your Discord account, you’ll be able to create token-gated roles.

The app automatically pulls in your existing Discord roles. In this case, the server has a Level 1 and Level 2 Discord role already.

Select the role you want to Badge-gate and enter ‘Optimism’ for the chain type and ‘Otterspace Badge’ for the token type.

The Raft Token id can be found on the Raft Token that was issued to you when you onboarded and acts as the super admin of your community. You can find all the Raft Tokens in the collection on Quixotic.

Enter the Badge name you want to use in your token-gate, and enter “1” as the minimum balance.
